Storing FN SCAR’s with I.W.S.P.

The FN SCAR Assault Rifle has already been stored using our unique and highly flexible weapons storage system known as I.W.S.P. (Integrated Weapons Storage Platform). In particular with SWR’s (Stackable Weapons Racks) and EWR (Expandable Weapons Racks) as specified by US Special Forces. The FN SCAR can also be accommodated with the MK 13 MOD Enhanced Grenade Launcher attached.

Specifying I.W.S.P. this weapon system can be stored vertically or horizontally in its various configurations.

In mid April of 2010 the go ahead was given authorizing the production and deployment of the Special Operations Forces (SOF) Combat Assault Rifle SCAR MK 16 and MK 17. This includes the EGLM (Enhanced Launcher Module) MK 13.

The FN SCAR (Special Forces Combat Assault Rifle) was designed and manufactured by FN Herstal in conjunction with FNH USA. Initially presented for trials and evaluation in 2003/2004. The SCAR is built at the FN Manufacturing LLC, plant in Columbia, South Carolina, United States.
